THE CBT PRACTICE RELAUNCHES WEBSITE WITH 'A LA CARTE' DESIGN

Griffen Mill Pixel Factory and The CBT Practice are pleased to announce the relaunch of www.thecbtpractice.co.uk. The CBT Practice is a client of the WebHealer website service, and the website redesign, completed on May 20, 2013 was carried out by Megan, a member of Griffen Mill Pixel Factory using their innovative A La Carte design offering. The A La Carte service allows Griffen Mill to create unique customised designs at very low cost, using re-usuable design elements tailored for professional therapists. It was jointly developed with WebHealer.

Megan of Griffen Mill said "In my initial consultation with Claudia Herrieven it became clear that I needed to create something which had a very individual style to it, something with personality. Strong photography is a key feature of the A La Carte service we developed with WebHealer, and the client asked us to create initial options based on seashore, people, general nature and water images. In terms of shape, the look we settled on was to be more flowing and curvy, rather than structured, linear or boxy. As for colour, Claudia Herrieven requested blue (royal), . Finally there was a specific request: hands reaching out or pathways, clear text, relaxing image,".

A key strength of the A La Carte service is fast development, and this project began on May 9, 2013, to be completed to the client's satisfaction only 11 days later. Claudia Herrieven at The CBT Practice said "The transition to the new a la carte design was very smooth and took place within a few days. The designer listened very well to my wishes and the way I like to have my practice represented and provided a very good choice of photos/pictures to choose from. During the process of changing the design I also was made aware of a variety of new features and possibilities to improve my website and make it appear even more professional, which of course was very appreciated. I think the new a la carte design offers better facilities to design the content of one's website in a more creative and interesting way too. I also prefer the new colour schemes and text boxes and the general option to have round shapes, which makes the website look somehow 'warmer' and more personal. Feedback from friends and from clients was very positive so far. I did not notice an increase in clients accessing my website since the change in design.".
