Bespoke Design Case Study for Counselling Client

Time For Therapy Counselling

On March 08, 2018 we completed a bespoke design project for this counselling client.

About the Client

Marla Prudom is an exerienced and fully qualified counsellor and psychotherapist with twenty five years experience. She runs a private practice in Kings Heath, Birmingham.

Summary of Client Requirement

Marla opted for a Silver Action Hero design for her website, with natural fading images at the top of her home page. She chose these images both for their natural feel, and for the sense they gave of moving forward - one a misty bridge over a river, and the other a beautiful place with a clear view ahead.

Design Considerations

The images informed the choice of colour on the website, particularly as Marla chose to retain a 'stepping stones' feature image on every page, so browns and greens were used to good effect. The fading header images are displayed quite deep on the page, but this allows them to really make an impact, and also means they're well seen on a smartphone, where very wide images can tend to look a bit small.

Client Testimonial

"The Silver Design Service is to be recommended. I am really pleased with the outcome. The process of updating and enhancing the look of my website was relatively straightforward and the results are fantastic. The designer was patient and helpful in guiding me through the process. All my questions no matter how small we're dealt with promptly and courteously. The information and guidance notes after the update was completed were also very helpful for future reference. I have nothing but praise for the Silver design service and have no hesitation in encouraging anyone who's thinking of using the design service to go for it. "
