About the Client

Karen Morris offers counselling and psychotherapy to individuals and couples aged 18 years old and over. She is based in East Manchester and in Heaton Moor.

Summary of Client Requirement

Karen chose a "Silver" level "Action Hero" design for her website, to create a strong new look for her website. She chose 2 contrasting images with powerful messages, to encourage website visitors to read on and find out more about her and her service.

Design Considerations

For an "Action Hero" design, wide images in a "letterbox" shape are generally chosen for the Hero images so as not to dominate the website when viewed on a large screen. Karen's images however are deeper on the page than usual for this design format, but as they send a strong message, they still work well on the website. Website colours were set to blend with the images, and not to clash with Karen's existing logo on the website.
