Silver Design Case Study for Counselling Client
Kamila KaminskaOn June 16, 2016 we completed a silver design project for this counselling client.
About the ClientKamila Kaminska is a counsellor based in Newbury in Berkshire. She is BACP registered and runs a private practice in Newbury, seeing clients from the surrounding areas. She contacted WebHealer for a design for her counselling business in May, and shortly afterwards decided to upgrade to the Silver Design service and the Super Hero option.
Summary of Client RequirementKamila was very keen to use a specific image for her design, a piece of artwork that she had explicit permission to use by the artist Leah Thompson. She was willing to help to adjust the image to the required dimensions and had a clear idea of what she wanted in relation to this.
Design ConsiderationsI was initially concerned about the amount of cropping that would need to take place on the image that Kamila wanted to use. However, on sending an example to Kamila of the amount that would be removed, she had a clear idea of the section that she wanted to use and was not worried about the base of the trees being lost. The image had a number of different colours that would be easy to pick from to set a complementary colour scheme that also gave a nice contrast to the different elements of the website. Tweaks are often requested to the colour scheme but Kamila was very impressed with the final result and especially liked the blue accents and the lighter quote boxes that can be applied to the Silver designs.
Client Testimonial"Becca offered invaluable advice and support while working on new version of my website. The results are simply beautiful. Becca has a great taste in choosing right colours for details and overall website colour scheme, which results in a fresh, inviting look. Thanks to Becca's work I now have a website that truly represents my practice to potential clients."
