About the Client

Nicole Marais provides psychotherapy, counselling and coaching in several locations in Central, North West, and West London. She also works with an international clientele via both online services and telephone.

Summary of Client Requirement

Nicole originally had an older A La Carte design for her website which she was fond of, but this design didn't look so good on a smartphone. So she chose to retain the beach feature image from her old design, and use it in a new Silver Personal Hero design, which is also fully mobile-friendly.

Design Considerations

As the same feature image was used as in her previous design, and her portrait image is black and white, it seemed logical to retain similar colours in the new design. So a light and fresh blue and sand colour scheme was set, to match the beach feature image. Muted rather than saturated colours are used so her monochrome portrait can still stand out.
