Most of our projects are for small businesses working to a tight budget and one of the key advantages of working with a Griffen Mill designer is our ability to produce high quality design at very competitive prices. This is achieved by working with our strategic partner PHD Interactive, and using their standard design platform, which takes care of content management and code generation, allowing us to focus solely on design.
On March 7, 2017 we completed a design project for a counselling client who has the website www.goodwillguidance.com
. Here is a quick summary of the project, but you can also read the full case study
About the Client
David Whistance is an accredited Counsellor, Autogenic Therapist and Careers Adviser, working from in Southampton and Winchester.
David opted initially for a Super Hero design for his new website. However, once he'd seen how this design option places a shadow effect around website images in the website content area, he opted instead for an Action Hero design, where the content images don't have a shadow displayed.
Client Testimonial"I enjoyed working with David to fine tune my new site design. We had useful conversations by email that gave me constructive food for thought about key design issues and options. Not only am I pleased with the result but I’ve also picked up some helpful tips along the way. Many thanks!".
If you'd like to see more examples, we've grouped them by type of business area.
Every now and again, one of us creates a design we think is really lovely, and we post it to pinterest. See pinterest.com/webhealer

We haven't set up our own Twitter account yet, so in the meantime why not take a look at what our strategic partner WebHealer is up to.
We just completed some very interesting analysis to assess the business benefit of the design work we do here at Griffen Mill. We looked at the before and after impact of a Gold Design, specifically looking at designs by James Morrison of Blue Squash, who is part of Griffen Mill. The bottom line was an average benefit of over £1,800 per year to clients. To see the full analysis visit the WebHealer blog
