Bespoke Design Case Study for Complementary Therapy Client

Offington Therapies

On May 11, 2017 we completed a bespoke design project for this complementary therapy client.

About the Client

Hannah Ware offers various Reflexology treatments, Advanced Facelift Massage, Zone Facelift, Indian Head Massage and Thai Foot Massage, and is based at The Worthing Natural Balance and Wellbeing Centre.

Summary of Client Requirement

Hannah chose a Silver level "Super Hero" design for her website. This design gives a full width feature image with fade-in overlay text for her website, and she was able to choose a relevant image to her home town - Worthing Pier.

Design Considerations

The sunset image gave a basis for the colour scheme that Hannah wanted, and that she already had with the previous version of her website, featuring oranges and browns prominently to blend with the sunset colours of the "Hero" image. Because Hannah offers many different therapies, her website features 15 pages, and this would make for a very cluttered menu of page links. However, with dropdown menus in place, the website page links at the top fit very nicely on one line, maintaining a neat and simple look despite the large number of website pages.

Client Testimonial

"I decided to upgrade my website design and David Law must have the patience of a saint. Not only did he change the design, he also did extra work on the website so as to enhance its appeal. All of which was carried out in an extremely professional and speedy manner and his answers to my numerous questions were extremely thorough and in a way that I could understand. I would have no hesitation in recommending David as his work, knowledge and professionalism are exceptional."

We haven't set up our own Twitter account yet, so in the meantime why not take a look at what our strategic partner WebHealer is up to.

New Stuff

With the recent launch of Active Images, PHD Interactive have added a great facility to their website editor that we recommend clients make use of. It aids navigation and provides us designers with a great tool to engage visitors and encourage them to take a look at what's on offer... ideally resulting in an enquiry, subscription or some form of action. The website editor includes some free 'call to action' graphics (such as the one opposite) and we're also enjoying making custom graphics for our clients. Get in touch if you'd like us to make something for you.
